Do-It-Yourself Dog and Cat Toys!

Blake had great success making several different types of toys for our volunteering class. Pinterest is our best friend when it comes to pulling up out new ideas. We upcycled some old cardboard and t-shirts for materials. We also used several techniques, including braiding, looping, stringing, and tying to make four different types of toys. Adding some skills to our toolbox, we learned improvising is a great tool! With only a couple visual cues and a tape jig, Blake was able to do much of it all on his own. Way to go, Dude!

Later this week, I am going to add the instructions on how to make them. They were very simple and free or nearly free to make on your own. A few ideas to create your own volunteer project. OR you could make some for your own beloved fur babies!
